On behalf of the Plymouth Community Arts Council, The Michener Family and The Damaris Schulte Family, I am pleased to announce that the following students have been awarded Damaris and Michener Art Scholarships and PCAC Art Merit Awards as listed below. We look forward to recognizing them all at their respective honors convocations, as well as at a reception at the PCAC on Monday, May 5 from 6-7:30 in the PCAC main gallery. On behalf of the family of "Dee" Damaris Schulte, the Plymouth Community Arts Council recognizes a Plymouth-Canton School District high school senior each year who has displayed outstanding abilities in visual arts and plans to continue his/her education in this field at the college or university level.There are 2 awards; a $1000 scholarship and a $500 scholarship.
Seniors from the following schools are eligible: Canton, Plymouth, Salem, Starkweather/Feigel Students’ artwork will be judged on its originality, creativity, and use of material. Artwork will be professionally juried.
