Third Saturdays beginning back live in 2021
Greetings, BaseLine Family!!
They say, "The longer you have to wait for something, the more you will appreciate it when it finally arrives." Having said that, it seems the 16th Season of BaseLine is going to be TOTALLY appreciated when the time comes!
The BaseLine Board has considered all the restrictions surrounding our type of event and has concluded that it is not prudent to open our Season in September. If we are lucky and conditions steadily improve over the next few months, we will revisit the possibility of commencing our 16th Season in January 2021 so we can once again enjoy the music and camaraderie we are missing.
A children's song comes to mind that sums up my feeling about getting back to our monthly events. Come on and sing along with me......
"The more we get together, together, together The more we get together, the happier we'll be!" (You know the rest :)
So hang in there! Performers, keep on practicing. Loyal listeners, please don't give up on us. As General MacArthur said in 1942, "I shall return." And, of course, remember the catch phrase Arnold Schwarzenegger made famous in 1984, "I'll be back." And so will BaseLine!

The Baseline Folk Society meets every third Saturday of the month between September and May.... There will be 10 open mic spots available for the talented performers who come to share their music with us here at BaseLine. A few will perform before the feature presentation and the rest will follow our guest feature. If you or someone you know is interested in performing, please come and sign up between 6:15 and 6:40 p.m. If more than 10 performers sign up, a lottery will be held for the open spots. First-time performers at BaseLine always have a spot in the lineup.
