Interested in volunteering?
Volunteer hours are available throughout the year at the Arts Council. These opportunities are a wonderful way to support the arts, meet new people and make a difference in our community. If you're interested in volunteering for the PCAC, stop in and fill out a volunteer form. We welcome youth volunteers and those needing to satisfy their school requirements and National Honor Society hours. Please consider sharing your time in one of the following areas:
Art, Music & Theater Buddies: Be a one-on-one volunteer to one of our special needs students participating in our theater program, art classes or music & movement
Summer Camp: On occasion we use volunteer assistants to lend an extra hand during our camps or summer camp art show.
Contact us to put your name on the list!
Event Receptions: Bake or set up and serve during PCAC events: Summer Camp Art Show, Fundraisers, Exhibit Openings
Snail Mail For Seniors: Serve as the host for a monthly Sunday afternoon card making workshop (2 hours) in our classroom. Cards are distributed to seniors in nursing facilities and private homes, and through Meals on Wheels. All materials provided.
Music In The Park: Summer Wednesdays in Kellogg Park - hand out PCAC promotional materials and answer questions about our programs during family music, magic and singing performances. 11:00am -1:15pm.
AVP, Art Volunteer Program: Become an art volunteer in your child's school, introducing students to art and artists with PCAC print portfolios and culture boxes. Sign up is done through your school. Orientation and registration will be at the PCAC in mid September.
Gardening-Grounds clean up: Seasonal landscape maintenance - trimming, sweeping, weeding as needed
Your Specialty: Do you bake, sing, create, teach? Email firstname.lastname@example.org and let her know what it is that you do that you would like to share with the PCAC!
