2022 Summer Art & Theater Camps @ the PCAC
include 32 Arts camps with FOUR weeks of performing arts opportunities with an emphasis on actor development and theater team building skills. Click here to read full descriptions and register 24/7 ! Actors Workshop with Sonja Marquis, Ages 12-17 Performing Arts, Ages 9-13 Theater Games, Ages 6-8 Film Making, Ages 10-17 On-site Summer Theater Camps will go on as scheduled, even as CoVid vaccine mandates for off-site theater venues continue
to impact the implementation of our school-year PUPS youth theater program. We look forward to re-inventing Plymouth Uptown Players to reflect these new restrictions, but that will take a little time. In addition, our long-time director, Sonja Marquis has announced her "retirement" from PUPS - what an amazing gift she is to our local theater community. She has a few of her own shows in the works (actor, director, sound & lighting) and also directs the drama program at Brighton High School. We will see her again for our Actor's Workshop teen theater camp this summer! It is our understanding that some local programs with their own stages may be running theater programs for young actors. Online classes, and in-school programs are all ways your actors can keep up with their craft. |
