Michigan Legacy Art Park is not only a beautiful up-north art destination, but a wonderful creative partner to the PCAC. We are excited to announce that the Plymouth Quilt is complete, and it has been delivered and installed this first week of July 2026 as just one of MANY contributions to the MLAP 2026 Quilts! project exhibited in the outdoor art park at Crystal Mountain in Thompsonville, Michigan.
From MLAP, "The project takes its inspiration from the craft of quilting as an expression of the histories, communities, and cultures in Michigan. Historically, quilting existed as a communal activity using the creative process to foster social connections. We envision this project functioning similarly to a quilting bee, with students and participants of all ages designing their own pieces together, in real time, to contribute to the larger whole." Thank you to Patricia Innis and MLAP for being such wonderful creative collaborators! |

Thank you to PCAC staff Lisa Howard, Kylie Enright, and Addison Fisette, along with community outreach volunteers Flossie Ernzen and Steve Howard for making this happen! |
