Michigan Legacy Art Park is not only a beautiful up-north art destination, but a wonderful creative partner to the PCAC. We are excited to announce that we will be working with them on their 2026 Quilts! project to be installed in the outdoor art park at Crystal Mountain in Thompsonville, Michigan.

From MLAP, "The project takes its inspiration from the craft of quilting as an expression of the histories, communities, and cultures in Michigan. Historically, quilting existed as a communal activity using the creative process to foster social connections. We envision this project functioning similarly to a quilting bee, with students and participants of all ages designing their own pieces together, in real time, to contribute to the larger whole."

We will be adding details here and on our social media platforms throughout the spring & summer with information on how the community can participate in the art-making. Thank you to Patricia Innis and MLAP for being such wonderful creative collaborators!
