Register for classes at the Plymouth Community Arts Council.  Download the registration form.  Fill it out and either mail it, fax it to us, or bring it to our facility: 774 N. Sheldon Road, Plymouth, MI  48170

 

 If you prefer, you can also register by phone by simply calling 734-416-4278 and conveniently pay with your credit card.

 

Registrations are taken on a first come first served basis. You may register by mail using the form in the newsletter, over the phone or in-person at the Arts Council. Registrations will only be accepted with full payment of the class fee. Since one person can make the difference in whether or not a class will be held, we ask that you register at least one week in advance. You will be notified only if the class is full or cancelled. Class sizes are limited. 

 

Enrollment is open to everyone without restriction. The Arts Council reserves the right to use likenesses of participants or artwork for publicity purposes only.

Children’s Theater Program

 

 

The Plymouth Uptown Players (PUPS)  is an experimental theatre group that is made up of elementary and middle school aged children.  Each season (Fall and Spring) children are invited to participate in open auditions.  All children who audition will receive a part.  The program culminates in a play  performed at the Plymouth Community Arts Council.  The performances are open to the public.  Some of the casts are invited to perform for local elementary schools as well. 
 
The program teaches children everything about producing and acting in a play including costumes, sets, and working together as a team with your other cast mates.
 
PUPS is lead by  renowned instructor Sharon Belobraidich,  a community theatre actor, along with several active theatre students attending the Plymouth Canton High Schools.

REHEARSAL SCHEDULE 2010 

Beginning Sunday, January 17th

 

CAST A (Kindergarten, 1st & 2nd grades)  4:00-5:30 pm

CAST B & C (3rd, 4th & 5th grades) 5:30-7:00 pm

CAST D (Middle School) 7:00-8:30 pm

All Rehearsals will be held on Sunday evenings.
